We all should get at least 30 minutes of exercise every day. But not very one can visit gym every day for myriad reasons. If your busy lifestyle or your workplace routine (or anything for that matter) is keeping you from visiting gym regularly, there are other ways to get your daily dose of exercise.

Here are five fun ways to keep you energized and happening even if you can’t make it to gym.

Take the stairs

Skip lift and take stairs instead, at your workplace. To increase intensity, boosts heart rate and to work your lungs, take two steps at a time. Take a break from your work at regular intervals and go out for a short walk. It will freshen up your brain and increase your concentration level.

Stand up every time your phone rings

Stand up every time someone gives you a call on your phone. Stretch your legs and put pressure on your stomach muscles. This will not only give you a quick workout opportunity, but will also make you appear more confident and assertive too.

Play with your kids

Spend an hour or two playing with your kids, for example running around after little ones, exploring garden, or playing hide and seek.

Dance to your favorite song

Dance is a good exercise to have fun and stay fit at the same time. Play radio or your favorite song and dance around kitchen. Dance is a quick way to burn off some energy without feeling like you are exercising.

Get intimate

Sex is a best exercise and has tremendous health benefits. It not only bolster feeling of love and being needed, but it also helps lower blood pressure, works your heart more than in one ways, decreases stress and improves your immune systems.

Gardening

A study at the Kansas State University observed that gardening boosts self-esteem and strengthen your hands. A little time spent gardening will certainly get you sweat. Small things like bending over to prune weed and fresh air and sunshine will do wonders for your mental health and overall well being.
